A fun company to work for every 5+ years when the products go EOL but during the downtime it can be tough. Low base pay with small deals make it tough. Typical contracts are 10 years so timing is everything. In order to BLOW out your number you need a large replacement or conversion deal and those take time to cultivate and create. Not a ton of upward mobility.

Base salary is downright uncompetitive purely due to nature of the job with its high level of complexity and longer sale cycles. Quotas in recent years have not made sense and have diminished what used to be a winning culture
