Current Employee So far things have been solid. Being on the retail side has its drawbacks and its benefits. Pay is lower than other industries but there is a pension , EPP on stock, and an industry on-level 401k match. The industry is changing and growing.
The true benefits are the interactions with customers and getting exposure to a broad swath of society and businesses. This is a good start for a fresher trying to find the “path” forward.
As a more active sales person with some grey and scars it is a massive slow down from other industries.
