I left a major tech company to join Paper (previously known as GradeSlam) when they were only a company of 50 employees. Despite their rapid growth during the pandemic, it looks like their toxic culture has finally caught up with them. My overall experience was negative. The positive was my direct manager and others that I worked with on a daily basis, but most of them were part of the 3rd round of layoffs, with all 3 rounds totaling more than 200+ people. Outside of my direct manger the sales org lacked leadership. Check out Glassdoor to learn more.
