How would you assess your sales leadership team in terms of their support and commitment to professional growth? Based on your experience with leadership at Paro, would you recommend pursuing a sales role there?

Paro is the last place I would recommend pursing a sales career. While I've worked here, over 60% of my coworkers have been let go for "performance" reasons. Management is nice to your face but plays favorites behind closed doors to ensure the best leads go to their favorites which makes new hires have to get very lucky to have success.

Would not recommend. They don’t invest in training or enablement and expect incoming reps to know everything already.

The growth is limited, really only get promoted to a senior level which includes a pay bump and higher quota. Saw too many people get promoted and then quit or leave within 6 months

There are no professional growth options, programs, or mentorship at Paro. The focus is very much on hitting your numbers, with quantity valued over quality. The approach is more "Get your numbers up to get promoted" rather than "Let's create a plan for you to grow and succeed at the next level."

Promotions are given based on hitting target numbers rather than talent or merit. While some may argue that "numbers don't lie," they can be manipulated.

My best advice is, if you receive an offer and don't have other options, consider taking it. In this market, having a job is better than being unemployed. However, this is not a place with a clear path for career advancement, sales training, or professional development. If you thrive in a startup environment and are solely focused on meeting targets, this could be a fit. But if you're seeking an established company with structured processes, training, and growth opportunities, this might not be the right place for you.
