The people and culture make the job worthwhile. If you are just entering sales the development and training you receive is second to none. The downfall is exec leadership adding responsibilities that fall well outside your job description and then cutting those individuals that previously completed those responsibilities.

Extremely challenging, divided culture, and for those income driven. Great income potential and can be extremely rewarding, but poor fit for many with higher turnover.

The total compensation potential is great, but the management culture is horrendous - micromanaging at its absolute worst, incompetent sales managers, and regional VPs who aren't interested in their peoples development.
