Current Employee Rhombus has a strong product in the physical security space, with a modern, cloud-based platform that customers genuinely find valuable. The team is filled with talented, mission-driven reps who work hard and care deeply about outcomes. The partner ecosystem is a major asset and can be leveraged effectively to close deals. The compensation plan is fair on paper, and there are real opportunities to make money if you can navigate the internal challenges.
Cons:
Leadership turnover and shifting GTM strategies have created instability. Reps are being held fully accountable for pipeline and quota attainment, yet there’s little acknowledgment of the broader strategic breakdowns — from poor enablement and lack of clear processes to the late-stage territory changes and reactionary pivots. Recent all-hands meetings placed blame on reps without addressing the major internal fallout from Q1. It often feels like reps are asked to sprint without a map or support, and leadership is slow to own their role in missed targets.
