Current Employee Senior leadership is one of the biggest barriers to sales success. There’s a pervasive lack of urgency, a disconnect from the realities of the sales floor, and little to no support when it’s most needed. Instead of enabling the team, leadership often slows things down with indecision or poor strategic choices.
Out of the entire team, only about three reps consistently hit their numbers. Everyone else struggles, and it’s not hard to see why—there’s very little upward mobility, minimal coaching, and a “figure it out yourself” culture that breeds burnout.
To make things worse, the company has a 100% commission clawback policy for up to four months after a sale. That means if a customer cancels—even due to reasons beyond your control—you lose all of your earned commission. It’s demoralizing and makes closing deals feel like a gamble instead of a win.
