SHI has a poor competition structure and provides little assistance. I’ve been in my role for 5 years and have seen many leave out of desperation.

My role was 100% commission based with no base salary. It was theoretically unlimited compensation, but they constantly changed how you were comped and leadership was very disjointed on strategy. It used to be that AEs were left alone to hunt on their own, but that changed with a lot more oversight, micro managing, and pulling products (like Microsoft agreements)...Read More

Overall experience - The structure of the company is constantly changing. Previous reps left horrible impressions on the customers, so the name SHI leaves a bad taste in a lot of mouths. Quota seems unattainable and is judged off of previous purchase history dating back multiple years so if you get stuck with an account that used to do everything with SHI and slowly...Read More

Great people, low compensation. It’s a young organization of sellers and great start to a tech career. It’s hard to pass a certain financial number but with the right network it can work out.
