Current Employee Schneider Electric is a great place to work. The company is very stable, dominant in many of the markets it covers, and genuinely focused on sustainability. Change adoption is slow and the culture is resistant to it. Decision making is by consensus and requires the involvement of too many stakeholders. Career development is a towering strength, and there are many opportunities for international assignments and career rotations. Layoffs are rare and targeted, but hiring is also slow and in small increments. The manufacturing viewpoint permeates the entire company culture. Compensation is good but not great, and you will not see opportunities to blow out your quota the way you can in tech environments or less mature organizations.
