Very cut throat XDR org - churn and burn environment. Even new SDRs who are in ramping will get put on a coaching plan/pip in ramp and experienced SDRs are let go if they had a back to back rough months. When the org is struggling as a whole, there’s no acknowledging it or coaching around it - you either perform or you’re out. They’re constantly hiring and you always feel on edge when you start to struggle. Most people barely make it to six months. Most managers don’t know what they’re doing and you have to work on their time as the meetings never run on time or last second cancellations are a normal thing. The pay is decent for SDR role but it is a hard industry with trades so if you can do good, you’ll make good money, but also be ready to get yelled at as leads are recycled so you’ll be spamming the same prospects.
