Skydio had incredible technology and has some of the most brilliant minds. But the company has a track record of giving inexperienced people “a shot” at leadership which has led to reps missing their number and not having a TAM identified. Deals require reps to complete significant amounts of paperwork and approvals to sell many of Skydio’s products. Reps have also been selling underperforming hardware in a space where quality of data is king - thus hurting the product market fit and rep motivation.

Leadership is disengaged, uninspired, and indifferent to company culture.
