Introduced capped commission for BDRs with the maximum you can earn being 25% over your OTE. Regardless of this it’s a fantastic company, with a great culture and a great product market fit. Since the acquisition it seems as if Splunk is now at the heart of Cisco with constant product innovation, especially in Observability.

My overall experience was good. Tough management style but expected given the market at the time (accelerated). Management changed and with it the culture. At one point, it was the best job in the industry!
