Current Employee Sysco is fundamentally good because it’s a well known company with a lot of muscle behind it.
However, profit has become a dirty word. We all want and need profit but the systems are near extortion levels on profit per case. The reps get some say in it but a revenue management team has the final say. They are way less flexible than they were 2-3 years ago. The comp plan changes more than my underwear and the company focus is worse than a squirrel in a nut factory.
Leadership varies heavy by region and market which really sets the tone for success or failure and if you actually want to wake up and sell or just drag yourself out of bed and force yourself through the motions.
