Are top earners really getting 750K+ ?!?! What does it take to reach the top of the leaderboard? With <40% Quota Attainment - are only a select few really realizing this earning potential?

There are definitely people making this. Obviously skill is involved, but a tremendous part of the equation is luck and your territory.  I would guess there are 20 to 25 sellers making that this year.  Out of I’m not sure how many… maybe 1200 account managers??

Those sellers making those amounts would have been with the company for at least 5 years before they start making that. They also will have a tremendous nack for navigating internal politics and being financially motivated. A 50/50 mix of both luck and hard work is required and like said before, this earning potential is being achieved by the top 2%-3% in North America of ~1000 sellers.

Yes, they do, actually top earners earn more like $1M+ up to $3M with a pretty large number (over 20 earning $500-$800K).....At any company this is going to be the top 1-2% but as someone who falls in that bucket and done it for over 10+ years, it is definitely possible. Per the former employee's comment, nobody who is at $750k+ is just getting there out of luck.   It takes high levels of skill, strategy, sacrifice and knowledge. You have to be in it for the long haul and  overtime you have to get to a true enterprise account. That said, it's not just big markets, there are people in small markets making over $1M that sell SLED and others making this kind of income in nearly every vertical from Gov, Big Tech, Healthcare Life Sciences, Insurance, Energy, Media and Entertainment to Financial Services.  The best always rise to the top.   It's a great company and it's not without it's challenges as we are a huge company but we hire great people, have great leadership and NEVER just fire people without lots of coaching nor do we EVER layoff people like every other tech company which is the industry we are in.  I've been here over 16 years and have many colleagues who've worked here for 25+ years which is rare these days.   There are plenty of days I'm frustrated by this or that but that's any career.  The grass is not greener elsewhere.

The other part that is not mentioned is that those of us making big coin are not selling IT staffing, we are mostly selling professional services, consulting which is a higher level more strategic role.

Yes, it’s account managers and account directors with massive accounts with continuous rec. flow making that money since they get paid out on a piece of every placement at their accoun It’s an outlier not the norm but if you’re an account director or manager with a big account you can make that muc.
