Former Employee Within the first week of being hired and completing the training, I was informed the team I was intended to be placed on was dissolved.
I was placed on a new team with multiple dozens of sales reps. It was nearly impossible to learn who they all were, especially in a 100% remote environment.
We had multiple meetings per week, all redundant and not productive. What stuck out to me, though, with each new meeting, there was a rep or two less attending the meeting than before. I began to take note of how many reps were at each meeting throughout the week, and after a few weeks, the number was decreasing anywhere from 3-10 per week. After I had the courage to ask some other reps there what the deal was, they informed me they were let go.
The leadership was very judgmental, almost hostile, offered little support but more non-constructive criticism than anything. After about 4 weeks of walking on eggshells, I knew I couldn’t stay there long-term and began looking for a way out.
