Former Employee While training was extensive, pay was competitive, and my coworkers are probably some of the best people I've had the chance to work with, its overshadowed by the company's inability to understand their markets, as well as the key individuals that we are trying to target. Calling a decision maker at 6pm their time during the holidays on their personal lines when there office is closed and they are with their families is not going to translate to successful business opportunities, no matter how many years of experience an SDR has.
With this vertical in particular, the territory you are assigned also affects your success in a role much more than management lets on. Southern "old-school" doctors are going to be much harder to sell on technology than upscale clinics on the West coast.
