Current Employee Unfortunately you do a lot of work for little pay for a long time. You’re expected to sacrifice opportunities, personal relationships, quality of life, and time, all for the possibility of potentially making 6 figures. It could be life changing, but only potentially. There is a lot of time spent working for the broker, and when you start making revenue you don’t get it. You’re expected to wait two or three years for your first commissions checks the turnover rate is high. It’s blamed on how tough the job is but they aren’t good at teaching people how to do the job successfully.
