Former Employee As a regional account manager, there is virtually no inbound flow of leads - most if not all leads must be self sourced. Heavy reliance on channel and cold outbound work.
Overall, great company culture and very globally diverse but not a great sales culture. The company has not figured out how to generate new logos. Most of its revenue comes from existing customers. Severe marketing challenges when running up against the other big cybersecurity vendors.
Most concerning is probably lack of quota attainment. At the most generous of estimates, maybe 25% of US regional account managers are attaining quote. Realistically, it or more likely closer to 10-15%.
The company has cutting edge technology and can hang and beat the big cybersecurity vendors - it's just the market perception of Trend Micro makes it challening - i.e. "old AV company" Browse Other Reviews
