Overall experience here was mostly positive but restructuring is on the horizon. Pros: Industry leader, range of products and solutions to sell, diverse and inclusion, great people. Cons: Increasing quotas, poor onboarding and training (very much drink from the fire hose and start performing), poor internal organization of documentation (success greatly determined by tribal knowledge and the grace of your peers to help you out).

Twilio is a very different company than it was a few years ago. Dominant in SMS but when the growth from COVID stopped it lost its way. 3 large layoffs in 18 months. Abrupt and radical changes in strategy, direction, leadership with very little communication.

My overall experience is great. Twilio is an amazing company that really invests in its employees. Restructurings over the past few years added some turbulance, but Twilio has always tried to improve the experience of their employees.
