My overall experience was OK. I worked there for 19 years and saw many changes over time. I achieved the most when leadership and the incentive compensation program were strong. Things changed over time and incentive comp was reduced, leadership and culture were lacking and there was no room for advancement so I left.

My overall Experience with United Healthcare was very Excellent! The job of Prior Authorization Specialist Role was never easy. However, the Leadership is the BEST! Super Supportive… stick with it if you can. Benefits are Respectable. Long days!!! A definite career choice/future if you stick with it for long enough! Overall very POSITIVE!!!👍🏼
