Former Employee The company had a strong start when it was bootstrapped and family-run — the culture was close-knit and collaborative, and even with some gaps in leadership and training, it was a genuinely enjoyable place to work. However, after the merger and the introduction of private equity oversight, the environment shifted significantly. The focus moved away from culture and people, and morale declined as strategic decisions became less client driven.
