Former Employee Horrendous. I was hired as a first round of US-based employees, and I do not think the company was set up to pay anyone in the US. They did not want me to fill out a W2, continually stalled on sending me equipment and did not have a US health care package established before hiring us (the company is based in Toronto).
The truly disturbing part was the leadership - my first day there ended with the CEO publicly humiliating several employees in a company all-hands meeting, including some senior leadership. We were barely trained on the product, weren’t able to shadow demos because prospects didn’t show up and the CEO kept pushing myself and the other new hire to “just jump in and demo” despite our continued requests for more training and resources. The last straw was being sent into another established rep’s demo and being told to “go in and take over” by the CEO directly (this rep was humiliated on day 1). Nightmare.
