Cohere AI lacks a cohesive GTM strategy and clear product-market fit. Most traction is investor-led or international, not driven by repeatable sales motions. GTM leadership is fragmented, and there’s a disconnect between product and enterprise needs. Decent tech especially the retrieval models, but weak commercial execution.

Unclear PMF. Models are decent, especially retrieval models, but most companies prefer to consume via cloud marketplaces which is small money. Products are unproven and immature. Management is out of touch with market dynamics. Amongst sellers, a story of the haves and have nots if you are handles weird international deals. Most revenue coming from investors.
