IBISWorld is a good company to begin a sales career. I think some things have changed for the worse but 4-5 years ago, they had a great sales training program. Their product is much more of a nice to have than a need, but is still well regarded in certain markets. What will hold them back is a lack of external hiring/perspective in leadership, as everyone in the C-level from CEO to CIO has been promoted from within. This has hindered innovation and advancement in the product and ability to keep up with rapidly changing market and technology. However, they offer a great work/life balance and have a lot of great people working there who care about others, but compensation and overall earnings suffer because of that.

Leadership is restructuring because of a terrible FY performance. Too many initiatives with little to no deep discovery of what makes IBISWorld a value add other than, "market research."

They did not handle the pandemic well at all and upper management was not diverse at all, so leaves little room for growth for people of color. These would be one of my biggest critiques.
