Current Employee Overall the company appears like a good place to work. The owners and family seem nice but we were encouraged by our manager not to interact with them, so it felt like a Royal family/peasant situation. Training was messy and incomplete and I pretty much had to learn the job by doing it. Manager was toxic and micromanaged everything, but too busy to help with any issues. Manager talked negatively about people when they left due to his behavior, and always tried to get employees to rat on each other. Manager and HR were both toxic and manipulative, and actively pushed out people they didn’t like. They thrived on control and most of the employees resented them. The company gave little PTO and Zero sick time. Insurance was expensive with high deductible and co pays. Pay was low comparatively. I suppose that’s typical for small companies. The niche product is pretty good and in high demand. Customers seemed happy for the most part. I wouldn’t recommend working there until they at minimum fix their management problem.
