It's effective if you choose to have discipline and utilize it. There is no ongoing formal training though a new CRO will likely change things around. In the past the training was MEDDPICC which for true enterprise deals made sense. Leadership and middle management was not very focused which is why the company has stagnated and, frankly, is in trouble. So, that training and methodology were not actually executed against. The new CRO is Oracle/__big ass company so I am skeptical of his ability to align their current reality with his planned playbook.
