Former Employee As of Aug 2025, SciLeads is a Series A start up whose platform offer market intelligence and lead generation insights that are specific to the life sciences industry. The product is quite good, but in the current economic climate (especially in the sciences: BioPharma, BioTech, Academia), it is especially hard to sell a product that companies see as Nice To Have but not essential. It can help you sell more, but it won't save you money or revolutionize your core business operations. Base pay for the BDMs / AEs based in Canada is terrible (around 70k CAD), and OTE this year is only being reached by tenured team members who have a stacked pipeline. Sales Cycle is much longer than advertised as most companies take a sniff, then don't buy, then come back 2 years later when they're ready to buy same day.
