Former Employee Startups are tough. I was employed as an Enterprise AE for just under 1 year (layoff). During my time 1 rep out of 9 hit their quarterly quota. When I accepted the position, the org was 100% inbound. This quickly changed when the salesforce was multiplied by 3x and no new lead sources were introduced. We then transitioned to an outbound org. We still maintained high deal minimums even with a land and expand strategy, which left hundreds of thousands of ARR on the table. After missing quota as a company for 3 straight quarters, all inbounds were funneled to the longest tenured reps (w/o acknowledgement). This lasted for 3 months until 75% of the org was laid off.
