Former Employee My experience as an account executive was walking into a turnaround situation. The organization was attempting to launch a better website / customer experience. We still had clients that would fax documents. My manager at the time used the SMART set up for going over our numbers but there wasn’t much coaching or activities that increased sales. Lots of cold calling or utilizing lead lists that weren’t ultra effective. Long sales cycle so even if you did get certain sales it didn’t change how much work you’d have to to make up for it. You can however transition via promotion to being a risk management specialist with your own territory and set rates. They don’t offer the P&C exam to everyone despite this being needed to receive a promotion.
