Current Employee Selling Appian is challenging. But it is a good product and delivers significant value for customers. Customers are generally very happy.
The market is still catching up on using a platform approach vs off the shelf solutions so in many cases there is a long sales cycle to convince the customer Appian is the solution.
The company as a whole does not have a tight go to market function. Rigid pricing and contracting often slow down cycles. And corporate marketing is weak. In many cases leadership not aggressive enough to earn new business.
The company culture and quality of people throughout the organization is a positive. Many good smart people to work with and support customers.
