Applied offers unique technologies that provide significant clinical and economic value. Its overall business model differentiates it from other vendors in the market. Compensation is bittersweet. There is an opportunity to make a great variable commission, but the base is below average for the industry. The benefits are ample, and personal life is valued. Overall, it is a great organization for which to work.

My overall experience was negative. Applied sells commodity products that are only bought when on-contract with a health system. The only novel products they have are niche and not popular with surgeons. I was there for 5 years and observed a toxic culture across various sales teams.
