My overall experience was negative. Applied sells commodity products that are only bought when on-contract with a health system. The only novel products they have are niche and not popular with surgeons. I was there for 5 years and observed a toxic culture across various sales teams. Senior leadership consistently promotes the wrong people into Regional Sales Manager roles and at best turn a blind eye to inappropriate sales tactics and at-worse condone them.

Applied offers unique technologies that provide significant clinical and economic value. Its overall business model differentiates it from other vendors in the market. Compensation is bittersweet.
