Current Employee Company did not get quotas or territory right for new hires in EMEA in 2025
VP EMEA stood up at SKO and told us our ramped number would be 750k - we were then given a fully ramped number (1.2) because the business ‘made a mistake’ on the comp plan and PE-owners refuse to pay above a certain % on closed-won.
Territories were built on an account scoring system. 7 months later the business asked EMEA sales to sanity check whether the data used to score (verticals, size, revenue, is the company even real?) was even correct. Much of it wasn’t.
Very poor handling of such GTM fundamentals in direct contrast to how onerous the hiring process is and what is expected of candidates.
Nice-to-have tech selling to immature buyers who have never bought tech before and don’t own a budget.
Low impact for the business as you are essentially solving hidden problems.
