Current Employee My experience started off terrific at Avalara many years ago, I was in love with the culture, products, opportunity to promote, and people. Ever since we were purchased by vista and went private, it has been one messy change after another. No individual working here seems happy currently. Many people say they feel completely undervalued and manipulated. Sales people are pulled away from selling to prospect. Call numbers and tool usage are more mentioned to sales people at Avalara than winning business right now.
