Everyone is "nice" at this company. The stand-alone products are also top of the line in this relatively commoditized space. It’s a complex company environment. The company is German so the expectations for sales reps are very black and white. A + B = C and if you couldn’t do that with a “superior” product than you didn’t know what you were doing.
