Overall, I enjoyed my time at CData, but there was nothing that was able to keep me around towards the end of my time. No upward mobility or opportunity to grow in the company, after a couple of promises. They did have a great culture and I enjoyed most the people I worked with and leadership was ok, bumps here and there like any job. It was a great place to get more experience in sales and inbound was great for the BDR team. Some choices were being made as I left that I wasn't too fond of, but alas what did it matter to me right? I'd recommend as a good stepping stone. Not sure that's where you'd want to get stuck.

I really like the people I work with, we have a steady inbound flow that keeps the sales team busy. There is a lack of clarity of product fit and where we are going in the future. Most of our close lost opportunities are due to the product not working. Goals are set where the best reps only hit 100% and even the good ones only get to 80%. My overall experience at CData has been positive. It is a company that is growing out of its 20 years of start-up phase and putting procedures and process that can be repeatable. Very fun times here in 2023 and going forward.
