Prioritize hiring people who were consultants or chief of staffs over people who actually know how to sell or what it’s like to sell. Lots of passion and excitement, and the sales training was actually really great. Set the foundation for my career for years to come! Like many start-ups, we grew fast and then cuts had to be made, but I loved my experience there.
