Current Employee ck sales is made up of 2 worlds. inbound and outbound. ib reaches quota and has high employee retention. that seems great but they sell an unattainable dream to those who don’t know any better. plus is that they immediately get to walk away from the guilt post sale and push problems to in person operations teams. ob on the other hand has less than 50% average quota attainment, performance plans everywhere, job dissatisfaction, stress and incredibly low employee retention. ob teams can hardly sell anything because they sell to those who check reviews, understand their financials and do know better. seemingly an okay market fit for enterprise restaurant groups. most others outside of a true corporate structure are doomed. senior management has no idea how to sell the product and change focus on a monthly basis. that always means more meaningless busy work for sales reps. managers are encouraged to micro manage worse than i’ve ever seen. success in california where hq is located has been near impossible. was told to sell with truth and integrity in training but managers will encourage you to say anything to get a close. currently pretty toxic with many looking for new jobs.
