Former Employee CrowdStrike undoubtedly has a top tier product and the talent to sell it is good. When I joined nearly 3 years ago, my segment was a bit smaller and more focused. My segment got bigger and experimented more with adding more teams and sub-verticals (ie. Co-selling with AWS). I think CrowdStrike could do a better job of focusing sellers better and clear ROE’s that don’t mix SMB, Corporate and Mid-Market accounts. I cannot speak to Majors or Strategics. I do think if you hit a hot patch, you can make a lot of money, but the average seller in SMB and Corporate is struggling with accounts being spread thin, budgets tightening, and the base salary is a bit low to weather droughts that happens in sales. Overall, I loved my time at CrowdStrike … the kindest people!
