Current Employee Been here for a while and overall it’s a good place to work with an experienced leadership team who treats their teams fairly. I appreciate how dynamic my Sales Exec role is - tons of different products and services makes things interesting and less monotonous.
This said, processes are getting more complex (and were already very complicated), and don’t think you’d find a rep at Cvent who thinks pricing strategy is anything but poor and really hurts Cvents brand/is unfair to customers. Quotas are very high and it’s become very hit or miss where a few years ago you could confidently know you’d hit if you have tenure and work hard. May still hit or exceed OTE even if you don’t hit annual quota through kickers and other spiffs. The company really struggles to make changes to respond to shifting market dynamics. Had a lot of talented friends in other depts like marketing leave, and expect more of an exodus coming.
