DoorDash is a growing organization with a great product. The service pretty much sells itself. Quotas are realistic all throughout the organization, and there are opportunities for growth from within as the company grows. Employees are generally young, and culture is flexible, optimistic and diverse. Market is becoming a bit more saturated for certain verticals (restaurants, alcohol etc.) which has made the job a bit more difficult for sellers. Your quota is also heavily dependent on your cross-functional partners in onboarding, which can make high performers feel frustrated since orgs don't move as fast as they do.

During my time at DoorDash, I found the company to be satisfactory overall. The pay was relatively low, but the product was easy to sell, making the sales process smooth and efficient. The experience provided valuable insights into a fast-paced industry, despite the compensation not being as competitive as I would have preferred.

DoorDash might be a big, global company now but there are orgs within it that still very much feel like a start-up with chaotic goals that are constantly changing and leadership that doesn't seem to have a grasp on things.
