How would you assess the leadership team at Enable in terms of their support and coaching for the sales department? Based on your interactions with the leadership, would you recommend a sales role at Enable?

I had managers come and go. Literally didn’t have the same manager for more than 2 months my whole tenure. Their enablement team drill down on you what they want you to learn. Do some LinkedIn research and see how many different people worked there the last 36 months and where they are now.

the direct support is really strong, as long as you're doing well. If you're working hard and doing what you're told, your manager will go to bat for you.

On the NA BD side-- the support is unmatched. The BDM's don't get paid enough IMO for all that they do, they truly do the absolute most to set you up for success. They are extremely invested in every single person's success, development and progression. They celebrate every win and go the extra mile every single time, holding enablement sessions, offering support and being as transparent as possible. The new BDR director Cristen is PHENOMENAL!!!! She does so much behind the scenes and is incredible. The changes she has already worked so hard to implement are driving the org in the right direction. 
The issues seem to lie in the middle sales managers- the layer between Jerry/Max and the AE's. The communication is poor and unprofessional at times. Micromanaging occurs heavily and a lot of the communication doesn't make sense and isn't productive, leading to poor alignment between the AE and BDR sides of the business. This makes everyones jobs so much harder, wastes so much time and truly makes it difficult to work here. It's an added barrier nobody needs. They get in their own way and I truly hope this is resolved soon because it's costing us business and leading to tons of attrition.  There are major gaps here.

Direct manager support can vary depending on their tenure at the company, but my experience is that they all have great coaching experience and actually care about your success (will go to bat for you). There are some layers between your direct manager and the Pres of Sales/Rev (Jerry) but nothing compared to what I've felt at other sales orgs. 
You get amazing resources when your deal gets traction - it's insane with the level of support from technical support to even the CEO sometimes flying in to meet your customer. What can be tough is the prospecting part in the beginning, but direct manager and enablement coaches are pretty good with getting you prepped for the product.
