Forter
Back to Reviews
Former Employee Forter has the makings of a good story on paper — strong brand recognition in fraud prevention and a core product that does the job. Unfortunately, the story behind the curtain is far less compelling.
High Turnover & Leadership Instability
Turnover at Forter is alarming. In just two years, the company cycled through two Chief Revenue Officers, a CMO, a CFO, and a VP of Service Delivery. Sales leadership, in particular, has been a revolving door, leaving teams without consistent direction or support. Many of the company’s best salespeople end up sitting on deals, waiting to vest or close just enough to cash out — then walk, leaving behind a wake of broken pipeline and burnt-out colleagues.
Product & Tech Concerns
The core fraud prevention engine is solid, no doubt. But Forter is standing still while the rest of the market is catching up. With rapid advancements in AI, the competitive moat is shrinking — fast. Meanwhile, Forter is weighed down by tech debt and unfinished peripheral products that are buggy at best, non-functional at worst. Browse Other Reviews
