There are many challenges with territories/account list, unrealistic quotas (80-150% territory growth), uncompetitive comp plans, low salaries compared to market competitors, almost zero sales tools, and only a few BDRs/ISRs supporting reps. However, the products and engineers are fantastic overall. Very competitively priced with a solutions for nearly every cybersecurity/networking need. If they are able to address the challenges at the start of 2026 then it would be a great place to work. Without that it just feels like many people are set up to fail.

My experience at Fortinet has been a very interesting run for me. The culture isn’t great the executive suite doesn’t seem to respect or closely engage with sales and morale seems pretty low across the board.
