FreshBooks is pretty good on commissions and most AM/AEs make almost the same amount in commission as their base pay. The organization has seen it share of layoffs in 2023 and is right now on a path to try and be profitable as they plan to go the IPO route in 2025. With this there are lots of uncertainties and hasty decision making which has led to the employees suffering.

From the day i left FreshBooks has just gone south due to lack of cash flow. Things are really changing and not in a good way. They keep changing comp plans and reps will at most make 70k a year
