Former Employee The last heyday of Google's sales org was 2021. Since 2022, Google has been gutting product experts and other resources (i.e. people), who make it possible for AMs and AEs to support Enterprise clients with excellence. Many teams are not hitting sales goals, and it's become difficult to provide enterprise-level clients with high-caliber support.
