It's great for someone starting out in sales. It helps you build great fundamentals and gives you experience in full cycle. However, you should think about quickly moving to another company as making good money will take years in this role.

Base compensation was solid, but the product was damn near impossible to sell, so you make little/no commission. Company will also slash your commission without telling you! They care more about your cold call output rather than quality prospecting. Insanely high turnover and obvious lack of care for employees within the company. Amazing for entry level sales. No need to stay longer than 12-18 months. Product is decent. Need to be in a good state to sell based on laws. Sales cycle is 5-8 months. Metrics are insane. Good lower management. VPs micromanage and your manager has to absorb it all, so need a good manager.

Good first sales job for someone right out of college. Long sale cycle, and won't see commission for at least two months after closing a deal. Senior leadership out of touch with the company, stripping away benefits. If your manager is good you'll have a good experience. Very little diversity within the company, and not much opportunity for career advancement
