Ironclad has a good product and good senior leadership, but the buyer persona is super immature and more problematic is that the CLM space is so crowded, with emerging players reaching parity on tech with far more economical pricing. CLM business cases are weak and it is viewed often as a point solution for legal. There just isn’t enough demand and Ironclad has over-hired AEs.
