Current Employee Pros: Hard-charging sales culture. CT office still has great Datto culture, with awesome, friendly, fun, helpful people. Many products are excellent. Unified vision is far ahead of competition, industry changing, with tons to sell; well positioned for market dominance. Likely big IPO pay-day coming if you have decent equity. Cons: super inefficient, frustrating operations/systems. Somewhat low OTE. Rigidly full time in office. Micromanagement. Some major products rushed to market leading to bad customer outcomes/anger. Arrogance toward acquired companies (especially Datto) causing breakage of smooth-functional processes and major avoidable damage to account relationships. Far too much admin work on sales people taking us away from selling. Zero T&E budget for clients. Almost never get new accounts as an AM. Small books of 20-30 accounts.
Over all a very mixed back. And note, the Miami office is a totally different culture and vibe than CT etc. Much more youth-oriented. Overall, it's a pretty good, but not top-tier, place to work. I give it 6.5-7/10. Browse Other Reviews
