Current Employee The SDR team has had difficulty maintaining an SDR manager, with the last manager only lasting 2 months. This may be due to the fact that their higher up, the SVP of sales, absolutely does not care about the SDR team. There are no incentives to exceed quota (no accelerators) and they consistently raise quota if their Account Executives are not reaching quota. The mess rolls down the hill as they say.
When we were hired the hiring manager said 100 calls per day but with the lack of tech stack support it is impossible. As you’re “ramping up” (there is no defined timeframe for the ramp up) your quota is 4 QUALIFIED opps per week, 16 per month. The team barely hits that, but the SDRs past ramp up have a quota of 6/week, 24/month. This comes with minimal management and marketing support. The SVP Sales still asks how can we continue to increase daily calls and opps, despite the team not hitting even the “ramp up” numbers. Internal turmoil from the AEs towards the SDRs is tolerated as “that’s just how they are, they got used to the old SDRs from 1 yr ago” Browse Other Reviews
